5 Side Hustles That Promised $500 Per Day

The friendly gurus online love to tell you about side hustles and income streams that make $300 or $500 per day.

They are soo easy!

Do they earn that much with those income streams?

Of course not. But maybe you can!

I’ve tried A LOT of these income streams over the years and I’m always testing new ideas. If you aren’t trying new things while building a business then you are just waiting to fail.

There are a few income streams I’ve tried that promised massive amounts of money per day:

  • Etsy Print On Demand – Despite selling digital products on Etsy for years, print on demand was much harder than I expected. It’s incredible competitive and the profits are not that high per item.
  • YouTube Channels – This is one of my side hustles where I’ve actually succeeded. YouTube can be difficult and lonely, but I’ve managed to carve out a full time income creating videos.
  • Dropshipping – I love selling with Shopify, but dropshipping is a difficult model to use. There are ways to do this well but I personally found it difficult and made ZERO.
  • Amazon Reviews – The Amazon Influencer program hit my radar in 2023 and I spent 6 months learning how to make money. I’ve made a few thousands with my best day being just over $100.
  • Money Making Surveys – This income stream will never be a large earner but it’s a great one when you have brain down time but still want to feel productive. Even better are in person surveys and groups.
