My Experience Making Money With A Blog

I’ve started and quit multiple blogs over a decade online. I’ve usually begun one when I was passionate about a topic then quit when the financial rewards never came.

I’ve had several blogs make $200-$500 a month and once made around $2,000 per month, but I’ve never fully supported myself from a blog.

Is it possible?

Yes!

I know multiple bloggers who live off their online income. Most of them are actually recipe bloggers who’ve built up a vault of recipes on their site and now earn $50,000 – $250,000 per year from their blogs.

While I’ve never personally succeeded in living off just blog income, I did succeed in building a full time YouTube business that has earned multiple six figures with ad revenue, affiliate marketing, and related digital products.

Earning money online is possible but it takes a lot of work, time, and specific knowledge to the platform you are using.
