I’m excited to finally share — we bought a house! 🎉 It wasn’t a perfect process (because, let’s be honest, buying a house rarely is). There were ups, downs, and some big financial decisions we had to make along the way. But we did it! I honestly did NOT expect to buy a house this year. Even though we have saved for a down payment the last 3 years it didn't feel right. Until we found the right house. Then? Everything fell into place. Houses were more expensive, rates were higher, and financially the choice felt silly at times. But lifestyle wise it's been worth every cent and every doubt. We love the new house, adore our new neighborhood, and the safer location has been worth doubling our mortgage payment this year.
